What is the purpose of an RSS feed ?
It is a simple and practical way to be constantly alerted on a current topic of interest to you. The feeds are automatically and continuously updated, without you having to connect to your favorite news sites.
Let's take an example to illustrate the point, you regularly read 10 websites, they usually publish their news as feeds, RSS allows you to subscribe to their publications, so by grouping the feeds of all the websites to which you subscribe in a single reader, you will receive in real time the information from all these sources in one and the same place !
No need to visit each site, wait for the pages to load, reach the sections. Once you have subscribed, you will regularly receive a list of article titles sent to your RSS reader (feed aggregator).
